I rarely get a chance to talk much about financial stuff, and frankly, I like it that way because financial topics cause me migraines. Luckily, I’m not often required to cover financial topics. This isn’t because they do not exist in my life, it’s because some of the best budgeting software out there makes my life easier. I don’t likedealing with the brain-pounding aspects of fiscal management, all by my lonesome self, so I use SaaS.
The best budgeting software out there comes in SaaS form and – like any strong business design of today – their dynamism and power make finance and budget management much less of a daunting task. Financial Saas makes life so much easier, that even the budgeting and accounting gurus in large firms would brand themselves fools if they didn’t take advantage of such technology.
I’m going to explore a few of these financial helpers, just to whet your appetite. You will get a feel for what this software is capable of, and If you like what you see, I encourage you to take the next step and learn more about the ones I’ve listed here.
#1 – Marketing Budget Management
This aptly named system is actually a big code plugin for SalesForce CRM. (If you’re not using SalesForce, or a similar program, for your CRM needs, then your budgeting needs probably don’t apply). With SalesForce integration, budgeting systems can get a feel for transaction frequencies and net profits of sales, as well as their overhead for support. The companies’ can then generate reports and make informed decisions for the future. A lot of other CRM solutions build on this basic software model, adding such features as budget management functionality. Simply put, Marketing Budget Management is a basic solution for basic needs, and it serves this purpose well. If you need something on a stronger scale, then other options are available.
#2 – Magento Pro
Magento Pro is custom- scriptable, budgeting for online storefronts – made easy. Magento is to storefronts, what SalesForce is to CRM. eCommerce, by its nature, requires plugins for applied budgeting, Salesforce falls short here, while Magento delivers well.
Magento Pro’s budgeting model is easily programmable, providing scheduling and configurations ideal for online merchants and service storefronts. You can modify store design, shopping languages and much more. If you’re not some kind of merchant, this isn’t the software for you, It’s the businesses (small or large) that benefit from Magento’s ability to budget their marketing and overhead and to run their storefronts seamlessly.
#3 – Texthog
Texthog is an extremely easy to use budget and expense tracking and management suite. It is ideal for small businesses and even home use. Texthog is a bookkeeping and budget calculation system that tracks transactions, recurring bills, income and receipts – in order to give a real-time, all-in-one view of expenses. Texthog is affordable, easy and powerful. Its web nature means that it’s mobile and wifi ready – from the gate.I recommend this software to homes and small businesses.
Some of the best budgeting software, if not all of it, is SaaS. That’s where serious business is headed in the future. There is plenty more to cover onm this topic, does anyone want me to talk more about this?
